Always fascinated with the supernatural, Karen E. Taylor first conceived of writing a vampire novel while living across the street from a cemetery in Richmond, Virginia nearly 15 years ago. She enjoys participating in theatrical productions during college as a Communication Arts major, but now readily admits that writing is better, since you cannot only write all the lines, you can also play all the parts.
